In order to hold our fee at its present level into the future we have instituted the following changes:

The Bowman Center is our new home. Please take the elevator to the second floor to the receptionist desk which will handle any drop off communications and checks you wish to leave, or for documentation left for you. If you wish to see anyone on the staff, please call ahead first to be sure that person is available for you.

Our staff will be working from Home Offices around the Charleston area and at the new office only by appointment. Our goal is to enhance our working hours to more efficiently handle your community’s needs and to be available to on-site needs even more.

Communicating with your Odessa Community Administrator:

Our current business line remains 843.856.8488. Beginning on August 2nd when you call our number a message will provide you with a direct number for you to record and use for future communication to your administrator. We hope this direct line approach will help speed your needs more efficiently.

While Odessa can’t control our national economic woes it certainly can make use of the modern tools available to help our expenses and those of our clients as low as possible.

We are excited about continuing to work with you and with the other fine home owners in your community. We invite any and all constructive comments and suggestions.

HOA Meeting – TBD

Just wanted to give all of you heads up of our next HOA Meeting – TBD  due to not able to send out the notices to give everyone enough notice, we will make another announcement as to when it will be scheduled! We know it will be at the North Charleston City Hall @1900 (7pm)

~ Palmetto Acoustic ~

I would like to share some local events that happen every other Thursday of the month, our friend Madeline put this show together a long while back, she started it at COFC auditorium and now she has branched out  at a local coffee shop as a listening room type to hear all the locals/national singer/songwriter musicians to play their songs for you.  There has been many artists that has performed in this event and if you tune in to NAB Radio – you’ll hear their music being played on the internet.

Please join me in welcoming Danielle Miraglia from Boston and Kellin Watson from Asheville to the Palmetto Acoustic Series, next Thursday April 9th @ 7:30pm. Check out their tunes at www.myspace.com/palmettoacoustic.

The Palmetto Acoustic series is held at Muddy Waters Coffee Bar in Charleston, South Carolina. The venue is part beach cottage and part ski chalet with high beamed ceilings and hard wood floors creating a house concert vibe. Every other Thursday, Muddy Waters is transformed into a “listening room” where fans can enjoy original acoustic music while savoring the organic/fair trade coffees, beer and wine. These concerts celebrate the poetic nature of the local, regional and national singer/songwriters as two artists each perform a 50 minute set of original music.”

Pool Beautification

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that we’ve started some of the renovation of the pool area – with first removing the img_2662surrounding trees to keep it clear of leaves, pine needles, etc..to keep it more manageable for pool maintenance purposes.

The guys are doing such a great job and we are lucky to have them. David and his crew has been very helpful to us to getting this community looking lovely. He is also just finished installing all the gutters for WHP and it looks great!

img_2666We are slowly working towards to get this community looking very nice and beautiful. We still need your help to get this looking always, so if you see trash, please pick it up and if you see anyone suspicious, call the police and see someone vandalising, call the police – report anything to the property manager, Jillian at Odessa for any other issues and she will convey to the board for any approval needed.

There is more work to be done, and we need volunteers for our committees and if you are interested please send Jillian an email to jillian@odessacompanies.com in which committee you are interested in. The following committee at Woodhill Place are as follows:

The HOA Board of Directors and its Officers would like to Thank those that came to our Annual Meeting which was held on Monday, January 12th @ North Charleston City Hall, 5th Floor, Rm 515. Thank you again for your comments, questions. We need all homeowners cooperation to get this community running smoothly.

We would also like to welcome back Melissa Owens to the seat of the BOD; she was unanimously voted back for another 2 year term. She will be our President/Board of Director.
