The guys are doing such a great job and we are lucky to have them. David and his crew has been very helpful to us to getting this community looking lovely. He is also just finished installing all the gutters for WHP and it looks great!

Porch painting contractors

For those that are interested in getting their porches painted there are a few options.

Kathy May sent this email and asked me to post it here on the website-

Okay, David’s crew will do painting on all of the porches for all the homeowners of WHP – for $150 and the other guy will do it for $75 = which case, I don’t know his work and David and his crew has been doing a lot of great work for us and they take pride of doing right the first time.  In other words, you get what you pay for. So if anyone is interested,

Here are the following contructors:

1.  this is David’s crew contact – 843.991.3551 and tell him that Kathy from WHP recommended you*…
2. Mario Jones – (don’t know his work) 843.224.3675 – tell him that Kathy (Lorraine’s friend) from Woodhill Place…
3. Willie Carpenter – (don’t know his work – flyer left at door) 843.709-6717 – from $175-250

*David has been doing our gutters and he did our Pool gate/fence and he has helped this community by advising the board what to ask for from other vendors and make suggestions in helping this community.  He has the contract for other repairs needed in this community.

4. Joe Pool – (work not known, but he did Mr. Bailey’s porch & door 6297-D RFR) 843.478.2411 from $175

Seamless Gutters for WHP

Hello Homeowners!!

I know some of you are wondering when you’re building will be done for the gutters.  GuttersThe Vendor we have hired is working towards your building and he has been very helpful and a godsend really!  He has worked with the Board in getting this community beautiful and making it cost effective.

If you see them around the community, please let them do their work and if you have any question, call the management or email the board at board@woodhillplace.com and we will try to answer your queries in a timely manner.

The following buildings finished are: 6297, 6287, 6280, 6275, 6270, 2011. They are working on the next few buildings.

The same vendor that is doing our gutters did our new fence/gate for the Pool and we as the Board Of Directors of WHP, feel he has done a great job.  Our new security gate will be installed Dec 1st per the security system people and they will be back to move/adjust the gate/fence as needed by Sonitrol to install our security system.  We are slowly moving in getting this community to its standard and we look forward toward your cooperation in adhering to our By-Laws and Covenants.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to write to the management or email the board.  We prefer to have all questions, comments in writing to keep for our records.  We are not the previous board, we are the new board and we will only take questions in writing and you can send those questions to our management company, c/o Odessa and they will forward it to the BOD.

We would like to thank you for your continued support and patience while we work towards to get this community up to par.

If You Think Woodhill is Still bad…

Welcome Back!

Three months later, and we’ve had siding repairs, a nice paint job, and a new drain installed, so we shouldn’t get flooded anymore when it rains!

Project Moves Forwards

The painting is almost completed now. The last three remaining buildings at the front of the community are all that remains, and the paint crews are working on one of those right now.

Let’s hope that the weather remains kind to us for the next few weeks, and then they’ll all be done.

Don’t forget that you need to submit an application to the ARB if you wish to make any changes or add anything outside. Anything that you currently have outside that you have not obtained ARB approval for, needs to be removed until approval is obtained.

The idea behind having an ARB (which most communities have) is to keep the community looking neat and tidy, and at the same time allowing exterior changes to be made that don’t detract from the overall look of the place.

Lastly, don’t forget to clean up after your dog if you walk them around the community!

Poop Scoop

Some of you may have seen a recent article in The Post And Courier, in which Citadel electrical engineering students discussed their new prototype robotic dog waste removal machine.

This would be an ideal tool to have here at Woodhill Place, and would give the few lazy, dirty ones within our community no excuse at all for allowing their animals to crap everywhere.

Landscaping

Spring is here and Woodhill has a new landscaping company with a plan to clean up, refurbish and communicate with all of us about ideas to beautify our community. Mr. Steeves from Forever Green will attend our monthly meetings and welcomes our individual suggestions. For the next month they will be trimming trees and bushes and pulling out all the debris that has collected and created drainage and run-off problems. Later some bushes will be relocated and grass planted to fill in some of the bare areas. The Landscaping Committee will try to keep everyone informed as to the progress, welcomes new members and would like to thank you all in advance for your comments.
